Zinc is an important mineral widely recognized for its role in immune and gut health. Zinc deficiency is common among adults with poor intestinal health. Studies show zinc strengthens intestinal permeability and inhibits certain enzymes that can cause intestinal inflammation.

Vitamin A deficiency is associated with impaired gastrointestinal integrity and the activation of an inflammatory cytokine known as NFkB. Supplementation with vitamin A supports the immune and gastrointestinal system.

Lactoferrin is a protein that is found in colostrum. This protein is very nutritive and plays a significant role in the health of our immune system. Lactoferrin also has antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Silymarin is a well known agent used to protect the health of the liver. The German Commission E has approved silymarin for its use to support the liver.
